Living in Seattle, days that are particularly pleasant for outdoor exercise are few and far between – especially in the fall and winter months. Rain clouds hang over the city for a majority of the season, but every once in a while I catch a break. Being able to go for a nice jog around the neighborhood without getting wet is a serious convenience. Otherwise I have to brave the elements or drive to the gym.
I’ve found a weather clock to be especially helpful when I wake up each morning and do my daily planning. It features a hygrometer to measure relative humidity and a thermometer to give me some idea of how the day might unfold. The clock’s pleasing aesthetics make it more than just functional, however. My wife and I both regard it as a fine piece of design.
