
Just because a clock says, “Outdoor Clock” does not mean that it is weatherproof or waterproof. Look for seals and gaskets around all the seams. This would intimate the clock can hold up to the inclement weather. Also, ‘labels on the clock’ should be evidence as to whether it is watertight.
If the timepiece is not impervious to the elements, one will need to bring it indoors for the winter months, unless one is fortunate enough to live in an area where winter is only a chilly day.
